Loco Resprays/Deatailing Overview

Through the wonderful and most diverse medium of Model Railways, we can sail effortlessly into the past on a regular basis, by indulging ourselves with a layout, coaching, wagon stock or Locomotives. Our layouts are our real life Tardis’. For over 40 years I have been modelling in Railways, starting at the age I could walk, by being a regular visitor to my Dad’s railway room. It was an unrivalled place of excitement and discovery for me, watching my Dad build models out of kits or scratch building items……it was no surprise to anyone in the family that I should grow up doing exactly the same.

Even from an early age, all I wanted to achieve was to make my models look as close to the real thing as possible. As I grew up, I would practice, build, paint and build some more. Artistic blood runs in my veins, from my Grandad (who would scratch built wooden Galleons), down to my Dad and onto me, so it was always and still is, an absolute delight to lose myself in the wonderful hobby of Model Railways.

Into the present and I am still striving for realism at every stage of modelling, using skills built up over those 40 plus years. You can be rest assured, that if you choose to commission an item of stock from me, I will put all that experience to use and deliver an outstanding, personalised model just for you.

I treat each and every person’s stock as if it were my own and I simply will not let your model leave my workshop until I am personally satisfied that I would be happy with the completed item to own myself. I thoroughly commit myself into every project that passes through my hands – there are no different levels of details offered, or different standards and levels of weathering, each and every model gets the full treatment from me, exclusively just for you. The end model will be a unique and wonderful time machine, just for you to play with as you choose! Whether you simply wish to have a favourite Loco renumbered and named, you would like to have an existing Loco or item of stock weathered, or you would like to have a full respray, detail and weather, I can tailor your wishes into just how you want your model to look like.
