Passing Green at Night

Deciding what to do with an image can be an adventure, looking at other Artists’ work can help you in that process . So what makes an image from an ok one to give a more emotional connection? My inspiration comes from a few sources but mainly from Terence Cuneo and how he creates a story on the canvas to hold the viewer’s gaze and to promote an emotion in the person. This is what I wanted to achieve with the Class 40 passing a green signal. The switch from day to night can be a tricky one to pull off and not every image will achieve this.
