Photos to Digital Art

As many people have photographs in albums, slides in boxes and digital files lying on computer hard drives, have you ever wondered what to do with them? So why not turn them into digital art giving a different feel to them altogether. Using computer software, it’s amazing what you can do, giving an image an oil painting look. By employing this method it gives the sky a more dramatic feel, therefore enhancing the overall feel of the picture.

Here we see EE Type 4, class 40 085 seen at Crewe in the early to mid 1980’s. Just looking at this picture gives a feeling that transports me straight back to my young teenage years, trainspotting, when we all had no worries coupled with the excitement of what spotting at Crewe for a few hours could bring.
